Ripponden Pre-School, Tots and Out of School Club

Ripponden  Pre-School is situated in the Community Centre by St. Bartholomew’s Church, and operates 5 days per week Monday – Friday offering sessions between 8.15am and 5.30pm in the baby room, 9-am and 3-15 pm in the preschool room, and wrap around care breakfast club and afterschool club from 8.00am to 6.00pm

Our committee-run pre-school aiming to provide childcare for those between 2 and 5 years old prior to their attending infant school at 4 years old.  The maximum amount of children per session we can accommodate is 27 – which allows us to provide as close an experience as possible between carer and child as possible to ensure your child gains the most they can from pre-school.  

Our Baby Room provides a welcoming, stimulating and safe environment for your children to thrive and flourish, with a baby friendly curriculum.

Our Out of School Club provides exciting, fun games and activities for children from 2 years to 11 years.

Furthermore, children aged 9 months to 4 years of age are entitled to up to 30 hours per week through  Working Parent Entitlement funding;  or  15 hours Universal funding for all 3 and 4 year olds; or up to 15 hours per week for disadvantaged 2 year olds.

We aim to offer childcare in a relaxed yet professional setting where you can be sure you child is receiving the best available support to them, in an environment where they will be encouraged to grow and develop. The children now take part in French lessons with a French teacher visiting us each week.

Parents are actively encouraged to contribute as much as possible in order to achieve the best for their children.
